Safety & Travel to Israel

Is it safe to travel to Israel right now?

Yes—Israel remains a safe destination for tourists in main areas. Tourist sites, cities, and major roads have excellent security. We monitor situations closely and adjust itineraries if needed for your comfort. Many visitors tell us they feel safer here than expected! For the latest, see official sources like your government travel advisory. We also have a dedicated safety update post—feel free to ask Yoni for current reassurance.  For more information click here.

What if there are security concerns or changes during my trip?

Your safety comes first. In rare cases of disruptions, we may modify routes or activities (covered under force majeure in our Terms & Conditions. We provide real-time updates and flexible options like rescheduling or credits.

Do I need travel insurance?

Highly recommended. We suggest coverage for trip cancellation, medical emergencies, and activities. We’re not liable for personal issues (see Terms & Conditions), so good insurance gives peace of mind.

What is included in the tour price?

Tour descriptions on our standard tours will show this information. Typically prices will include your licensed Israeli guide and comfortable private transportation (A/C van/car).  Entry fees to sites (as listed) are sometimes included but again, check the tour details.  Water, snacks meals, tips, and personal expenses are almost always extra unless specified. Full details on the tour order pages Group Tours or Scheduled Day Trips.

Comfortable walking shoes (lots of steps!), modest clothing for religious sites (shoulders and knees should be covered, sunscreen, hat, water bottle, phone, and any medications. We’ll send a prep list after booking.

Absolutely—we customize! Tell us about ages, accessibility requirements, or special needs (e.g., wheelchairs, dietary restrictions) so we can adapt pacing, sites, and transport.

What languages do you offer?

Primarily English. We can accommodate basic needs in other languages via translation if requested. Alternatively we can recommend other tour guides who speak various languages including Hebrew, Arabic, French, Spanish, German, Russian, Greek, Portuguese, Afrikaans, Manderin and some others.

Do children pay full price?

Kids often get discounts—depends on age and tour type. Mention group ages in your inquiry for accurate pricing.

Can I combine Israel with nearby countries (e.g., Jordan, Egypt)?

Yes—many do! We focus on Israel but can advise on seamless connections or refer trusted partners for cross-border extensions.
