1. Shilo and Wine Tasting

Tuesday, 7th July 2026

Pickup stop: Netanya

Depart Zichron Yaakov with a convenient stop in Netanya and head to biblical Tel Shiloh, the ancient site of the Tabernacle where the Ark of the Covenant once rested. 2. Masada

Tuesday, 28th July 2026

Pickup stop: Jerusalem

From Zichron Yaakov, pick up in Jerusalem and travel to the iconic Masada fortress overlooking the Dead Sea. Ascend by cable car to explore King Herod’s magnificent palaces, the ancient synagogue, bathhouses, and the dramatic sites of the Jewish rebels’ last stand against Rome in 73 CE. Learn the inspiring story of courage and freedom that has become a national symbol of resilience. Breathtaking views guaranteed. Optional short Dead Sea experience possible. 

 

3. Beer Sheva – Anzac Museum and IAF Museum

Tuesday, 4th August 2026

Pickup stop: Tel Aviv

Depart Zichron Yaakov with Tel Aviv pickup and head south to Beer Sheva. Visit the Anzac Memorial Museum, honouring the Australian and New Zealand soldiers who fought in the 1917 Sinai and Palestine campaign. Then explore the nearby Israeli Air Force Museum at Hatzerim Airbase, with its impressive collection of historic aircraft, jets, and exhibits on Israel’s aviation heritage and aerial defence achievements. 4. 1948 pt1 – Armoured Corps Museum, Burma Road, Castel, Latrun

Tuesday, 11th August 2026

Pickup stop: Tel Aviv

From Zichron Yaakov via Jerusalem pickup, explore pivotal 1948 War of Independence sites. Visit the world-class Armoured Corps Museum at Latrun with its impressive tank collection and exhibits. Drive the historic Burma Road, the secret supply route that saved besieged Jerusalem, and the strategic Castel battle site. Learn about armored warfare, ingenuity, and the determined battles that secured the young state’s survival.

5. 1948 pt2 – Bullet Factory, Ad Halom Bridge

Pickup stop: Tel Aviv

Depart Zichron Yaakov with Tel Aviv pickup and visit the secret Ayalon Institute (Bullet Factory) near Rehovot – an underground munitions plant cleverly disguised as a kibbutz laundry during the 1948 war. Continue to the Ad Halom Bridge near Ashdod, site of fierce fighting that halted the Egyptian advance. Discover stories of Jewish ingenuity, bravery, and determination that helped establish the State of Israel.

6. Golan: Eli Cohen Trail

Pickup stop: Tiberius

From Zichron Yaakov with a convenient stop in Tiberius, travel north to the spectacular Golan Heights and follow the Eli Cohen Trail.
